Collect Solgaleo and Lunala-GX in the new Sun & Moon-Cosmic Eclipse expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and a Shiny Solgaleo and Lunala distribution for video games
The Pokémon Company International has announced the worldwide publication of the new expansion Sun and Moon - Cosmic Eclipse for November 1st, the date on which fans of the Pokémon Trading Card Game will finally be able to try the combinations offered by the new TAG TEAM cards, featuring both Pokémon and Trainers.
Solgaleo and Lunala-GX arrive on Sun and Moon-Eclipse
With Sun and Moon - Cosmic Eclipse we welcome two new triads of Allies unveiled during the Pokémon World Championships 2019: The first, Arceus, Dialga, and Palkia-GX is made up of a Mythical Pokémon and two Legendary Pokémon, while the other features the adorable but fearsome Togepi, Cleffa and Igglybuff-GX. The expansion also includes new TAG TEAM Support cards featuring two characters on a single Trainer card, such as Red and Blue, and Camilla and Catlina. Some cards will also have a special version with illustrations depicting the Pokémon and their Trainers. Here are the main details of the Sun & Moon-Cosmic Eclipse expansion:
- Nine new Pokémon-GX ALLIES
- Seven more Pokémon-GX
- More than 20 Coach cards and a new special Energy card
The Sun & Moon - Cosmic Eclipse expansion will also be available in the Pokémon TCG CardDex, an app that allows you to browse all cards published since Pokémon TCG: Sun and Moon series. You can try out the Sun & Moon-Cosmic Eclipse expansion before its release by participating in one of the prerelease tournaments taking place October 19-27. To celebrate Solgaleo and Lunala fighting side by side in the Pokémon TCG, players will be able to receive Shiny Lunala in Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Sun, or Shiny Solgaleo in Pokémon Ultra Moon or Pokémon Moon. Trainers will be able to obtain download codes from participating vendors from October 1st to November 15th. Chromatic Lunala will be released in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Sun with the following features:
- Level: 60
- Moves: Shadow Ray, Psychoshock, Lunar Force, Moonlight
Chromatic Solgaleo will be released in Pokémon Ultra Moon and Pokémon Moon with the following features:
- Level: 60
- Moves: Astrocharge, Zen Cozzata, Scream, Mattindoro
