Mattel launches the first ever collaboration between UNO and Nike, with a product line developed in collaboration with NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo
Nike and Giannis celebrate UNO's 50th anniversary with a big "dunk"; an exclusive collection consisting of a footwear line, a clothing capsule, a deck of cards customized by Mattel Creations and an event on the UNO app. Antetokounmpo claimed:
I want every product to be genuine and authentic, and playing UNO with my siblings is an important part of our lives. The Nike team did a great job bringing my ideas to life and I think with this collection they have created something great for every Nike, UNO and basketball fan.

The collaboration features details that celebrate Giannis and his family's passion for UNO, incorporating the game's iconic colors, design elements and one and a few cards with specially crafted graphics in the following products:
Zoom Freak 3, Air Force 1 and Offline footwear line signed by Nike in the iconic colors of UNO and the design of Giannis. There will also be a black version reserved for Zoom Freak 3 members with a UNO 50th anniversary logo on the tongue and the Jolly Change Color image on the toe, as well as fun primary color graphics to complete the UNO look.
Special edition Nike apparel capsules which includes a classic cotton t-shirt and a peaked cap with Giannis' number. The footwear line and clothing capsule will be on sale on Nike's official website in the coming months.
UNO deck of cards branded Giannis with a new rule that requires players to "steal the ball" to earn an extra gap and start off on the counterattack towards victory. The deck will be sold on Mattel Creations and NTWRK starting November 11.
As part of the collaboration, the UNO mobile app will complement the deck of UNO cards branded Giannis for use on devices iOS e Android. With cards, players will be able to use the special “steal the ball” rule and decorate their profiles with themed rewards. The cards and other rewards will be available from November 1st to November 30th on the UNO app on the occasion of the UNO X Giannis event.
